Eagle Farm Racecourse Equine Training Pool
Acting as the major training centre in Queensland, Eagle Farm is a first-class training complex providing plenty of tools to utilize allowing trainers to vary the training of their horses. The on-course stabling facilities include an equine training pool. Concrete Seal was engaged to refurbish the pool surface and install a high impact, high abrasion resistant immersion capable coating suitable of withstanding the thrashing and kicking by the horses as they traverse through the pool circuit.

The Scope

Protective Coating Remediation:

  • Remove the existing chlorinated rubber lining
  • Remediate the surface with engineered mortar to achieve a CS3 profile
  • Install a high impact, high abrasion resistant immersion capable Polyurea Spray coating
  • Detail pool coping and waterline section with high UV resistant heavy duty Polyaspartic coating
